Is It Safe To Put Baby Powder On My Puppy
I have a male 11 week old shih tzu. His name is Marley. He smells bad from rolling in his poop outside( I try to stop him! lol) and just having a long coat is hard to keep smelling good. I have heard giving a puppy too many times a week will irritate his skin. I have tried perfume/Cologne it just doesnt work for a puppy that always wants to play outside.

The vet said for itching use Goldbond powder, and when the skin is raw use A&D ointment, NOT bacitracin or neosporin. The A&D doesn't have anything dangerous in it in case your dog licks. For the diarrhea give her a teaspoon of peptobismol. Perfectly safe, and will provide much needed releif for your dog!
