Im Worried My Dalmatian Puppy Is Too Aggressive
Just to give a background story – I live in an apartment building on the second floor. I’m actually not allowed to have dogs under 6 months there but we just snuck her in. I’m worried that since she just learned how to bark, that in addition to the whining will get me in trouble. My parents live in the same city about 15 minutes away.

We first got her at 7 weeks old we thought it was just a puppy thing and would calm down but she is getting more agressive her nips are harder and she started to growl when being told no. Like others have said, first make sure it isn’t unwell . If the dog isn’t unwell then it is probably using its whining to try to communicate with you. My female ridgeback whines allllll the time. Im Buying from a long time breeder who has had one of his dogs go on to become a SAR dog. I've asked him to look out for a puppy that showed the right qualitites. Despite that im still worried that stigma of Dalmatians or size may get in our way. They are not unpredictable either - sure, they can be a little hyper, but they are not aggressive or unpredictable. Good on you for thinking of adopting. If you like the dog, then go for it.
